The 27th Bönnigheimer Stromberglauf once again attracted numerous runners to Bönnigheim. With pleasant temperatures occasionally accompanied by sunny moments, there was an overall cheerful atmosphere. This year, the traditional course through the city center had to be omitted due to various detours; instead, two attractive alternative routes were offered. The 5-kilometer loop was a fast and flat course, while the 10-kilometer distance featured an ascent of 60 meters and provided a magnificent panoramic view over the vineyards. The 2-kilometer loop remained as usual around the Stromberg cellar.

Highlights

  • The 5-kilometer loop ran through fields, meadows, and residential areas around the Strombergkeller and was a fast and flat course with only 20 meters of elevation gain.
  • The 10-kilometer distance demanded a lot from the participants: After just one kilometer, a climb of 60 meters in elevation awaited them, passing by quaint Wengerthütten.
  • Upon reaching the top, the runners were rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view over the vividly colored vineyards.
